Jonah Fisher

Jonah Fisher has been a foreign correspondent for the BBC for ten years. He's lived in Eritrea, Sudan, South Africa, Nigeria and Thailand and now, accompanied by a wife and two toddlers, is opening up the first ever BBC bureau in Myanmar/Burma. It's a crucial time for the southeast Asian country with elections due in 2015 and uncertainty over whether the army will allow Aung San Suu Kyi to become president.

Jonah is writing the fascinating story of his work there and the vast changes affecting this re-emerging nation.
